Student mediator teams (1-2 members) and negotiator teams (2-4 members) selected by application. Applications for the 2026 edition opened 1 December and closed 14 February; expect a similar window for 2027. Team fee EUR 500.
About this competition
The Consensual Dispute Resolution Competition run by the IBA and VIAC: negotiation teams work a live commercial dispute while student mediators run the table, scored by leading international practitioners. The 2026 edition ran 2-7 July; 2027 dates are yet to be announced.
