Eligibility
Students in a three-year or five-year LL.B. at a BCI-recognised institution; one team per institution, with an authorisation letter from the dean, HoD or faculty convenor. Teams of three — two speakers and one researcher. PROVISIONAL REGISTRATION IS FREE and closes 22 October 2026; memorials are due 31 October. Only the top 16 teams pay, Rs 3,000 for the oral rounds, which covers accommodation, boarding, local travel and kits.
About this competition
A first edition with an unusually fair cost structure: entering and submitting a memorial costs nothing, and only the sixteen teams that qualify for oral rounds pay anything at all. Problem spans constitutional, criminal and environmental law. Rs 1.25 lakh prize pool — Rs 50,000 to the winners, Rs 30,000 to the runners-up, Rs 15,000 each for best memorial, speaker and researcher, plus SCC Online subscriptions.
