About this competition

The tenth edition of Law Centre-II's flagship international moot, instituted in its memorial form in 2018 by Senior Advocate Sacchin Puri in honour of his father, Shri S.K. Puri. Unusually for a moot it runs as a simulated trial under the Rome Statute: teams argue both prosecution and defence, examine and cross-examine witnesses, and are scored separately on memorials and oral advocacy. The 2026 problem turns on the accountability of judicial and quasi-judicial institutions for aiding international crimes. Prize pool Rs 2.11 lakh -- Rs 51,000 to the winners, Rs 40,000 to the runners-up, Rs 25,000 to second runners-up, plus best memorial, advocate and witness awards.
