University teams worldwide. Indian teams qualify through the ICC Moot India National Rounds. The 2027 timetable had not been published as of 6 August 2026 — check iccmoot.com for the competition calendar.
The world's largest competition on international criminal law and a recognised "grand slam" moot, with 100+ teams from around 50 countries. Teams argue as prosecutor, legal representative of victims, and defence counsel — a written round conducted remotely, then oral rounds in The Hague with the final held at the International Criminal Court itself. An IBA financial support programme is available for teams. Indian participation is strong: five teams qualified for the 2026 international rounds.
