Students in a three-year LL.B., five-year integrated LL.B. or LL.M. programme at a recognised Indian institution — LL.M. students ARE eligible, which most national moots do not allow. Fee Rs 3,000 per team, including working lunch on 30 and 31 January. Registration and payment close 30 December 2026, 11:59 pm IST; team codes are allotted 28 December; clarifications close 1 January 2027; soft-copy memorials 3 January; hard copies by 20 January for teams that advance. TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION ARE NOT PROVIDED.

A hybrid national moot spread across January: online preliminaries on 8-9 January, then octa-finals through semi-finals on 30 January and the final on 31 January at Indore. Rs 51,000 to the winning team, Rs 31,000 to the runners-up, and Rs 15,000 each for best memorial, speaker and researcher. The announcement advertises "prizes worth Rs 3,00,000" but the itemised awards come to Rs 1,27,000 — the gap is presumably the SCC Online subscriptions counted at list price, so treat the headline figure with care.
