Eligibility
Each team must be from a single institution, and one team per institution is accepted in the first instance. Indian law schools compete regularly. The 2027 host and dates were unannounced as of 6 August 2026.
About this competition
The leading global competition in international maritime law, drawing teams from Australia, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, the UK, Denmark and South Africa. Teams argue a shipping dispute in an arbitral setting, combining charterparty and cargo-claim issues with arbitration procedure. The 26th edition ran 5-10 July 2026 at the University of Sydney.
